Certificate

I got a certificate today at the year 3 and 4 assembly. I got it because I try really hard and don't give up when things are hard for me. I got it for resilience and it is a value. I was really happy when they said my name.

Maths: plus five facts

I was learning to move the numbers to answer the plus five questions. It was easy to do 5+1. It was tricky to do 4+5.

Reading: retelling the story

I was learning to retell the story. I can say what happens at the start and end. It is tricky to say what is happening in the middle.

Spelling: short vowel sounds

Spelling reflection:

I was learning to sound out words with short vowel sounds.

I can do the short a sounds with a buddy.

I was tricky to do the short i sound on my own and sound out the words.
