I was learning to figure out the money with dollars and cents. If you count the money then you know how much money you have. The dollar coins are the gold ones.

Contraction

I was learning contractions. I had to figure out the different words. The apostrophe means a letter didnt make it and a piece fell off. It was hard because it was hard to figure out the different words.

Speed and agility

We went to the field. We played speed agility.At the ladders you are not a laud to touch the ladders.And you are not a laud to skip the jumps.

Retell the story

I was learning talk about the beginning middle and end. It was easy to do task.  There was nothing hard about it.

I was learning to sounds out 3 letter words. t was easy to put the words together because I was sounding out.

Geometry

It was easy to drag the car,teddy and hat in the right place. I know what inside means and outside.

Maori language week

It was easy to remember the numbers one to five.  It was hard to remember the numbers ten to twenty.

It was hard and hot running.  I came 2nd.

Read and write the word can

I was learning to read and write the word can. I can sound the letters out. It was easy to put them into the sentence. I can read the word can.

Numbers before up to 100

I was learning to say the number before another number. I looked at the ones to write the number. It was easy to do because you can just look at the number.

It is important to wear a seat belt its because you will not get hurt you could get sick. So you don't go flying out the window.




I was learning to write an explanation. l know to     use my ideas from plan.It was easy to think of ideas about each topic.

Adding tens

I was learning to count in tens. I find it easy because I have done it before.

Baking ANZAC biscuits

We were baking Anzac biscuits today. I poured the coconut out of the 1/4 cup tin. We stirred the ingredients inside the bowl. I hold the ball to roll into a biscuit.i feel great. It tasted delicious.

Certificate

I got a certificate today at the year 3 and 4 assembly. I got it because I try really hard and don't give up when things are hard for me. I got it for resilience and it is a value. I was really happy when they said my name.

Maths: plus five facts

I was learning to move the numbers to answer the plus five questions. It was easy to do 5+1. It was tricky to do 4+5.

Reading: retelling the story

I was learning to retell the story. I can say what happens at the start and end. It is tricky to say what is happening in the middle.

Spelling: short vowel sounds

Spelling reflection:

I was learning to sound out words with short vowel sounds.

I can do the short a sounds with a buddy.

I was tricky to do the short i sound on my own and sound out the words.

Our class treaty

this is our class treaty our class treaty represents the three R's

The three R's are Respect,Resilience,Responsibility.
