I Am Learning Scooter Skills

We had a special day at school to learn how to be safe on our scooters. It was fun.

I Am Learning to Find the Beginning Sound

We were using the ipads to play phonics games. We had to listen to the word and then choose the  letter that made the beginning sound. 

" Sometimes it's easy, but sometimes I don't get it right. Then I try all the letters until I get it right."

I Am Learning About Fractions

We are learning about halves. It can be tricky sometimes to give them the same amount each when we share things. When we cut things in half both pieces must be the same size.

"I shared the lollies. I gave them half. They get the same number each. They have 4 apples each."

I Am Learning To Write a Sentence

I am learning to write a sentence about my picture. I need to remember to put a capital letter at the beginning and a full stop at the end. I also need to remember to leave finger spaces.

" I can find some words by myself now. I look on the yellow card and on the wall. I am trying to keep my letters on the line too."
